Heranças e Vivências Judaicas em Portugal
A exposição «Heranças e Vivências Judaicas em Portugal» tem como objetivo apresentar ao público em geral uma visão diacrónica das principais linhas, momentos e temáticas em que os sefarditas portugueses foram centrais na História de Portugal.
Não se pretende uma glorificação nem a criação de uma narrativa laudatória, mas apresentar, de forma isenta e rigorosa, a História destas comunidades e seus indivíduos que tão importantes foram, e são, para a identidade nacional.
A exposição será organizada em módulos, tendo todos eles um grupo de informação em português e em inglês, assim como um significativo leque de imagens.
Jewish Experiences and Legacies in Portugal
The exhibition «Jewish Experiences and Legacies in Portugal» aims to present to the general public a diachronic vision of the main lines, moments and the matic in wich the portuguese Sephardim were central to the History of Portugal.
It is not intended for a glorification nor for the creation of a laudatory narrative, but to present, in an impartial and strict manner, the history of these communities along with their individuals who were – and are – so important for the national identity.
The exhibition will be organized in modules. All of them comprise sets of information both in Portuguese as in English, as well as a significant range of images.
